Emma Jarratt is an investigative journalist from Toronto. A graduate from the Master of Journalism program at Ryerson University she freelances in print and broadcast. Emma was a recipient of the High North Journalism Award in 2014 and was nominated for a 2014 COPA for best news coverage and a 2014 OCNA for student news writing.
Emma’s work has appeared on CTV News, W5, Canada AM, BarentsObserver and in the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail and VICE. She has reported on social issues, health, conflicts, business and national security from seven countries and has lived abroad in Switzerland, the UK, and Arctic Scandinavia.
